History of the Statue of Equality

The Statue of Equality was inaugurated in February 2022, commemorating the 1000th birth anniversary of Sri Ramanujacharya.

The project was envisioned and executed under the guidance of HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji. Built with panchaloha (five-metal alloy), the statue reflects Ramanujacharya’s timeless teachings — that every human being, irrespective of caste, gender, or status, is equal before God.
